Under the tutelage of Rick Smith, during my 5 years (1993 - 1997) as a PGA Golf Professional at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, MI, I gained tremendous knowledge of the golf swing. I observed & assisted him with his Rick Smith Golf Academy, and I soon became a 'Rick Smith certified' instructor. Plus, along with having adopted many of Rick's teaching techniques & philosophies, I have also assisted Smith with corporate outings & clinics, including that of Ford Motor Company. Additionally, long before I had started working for Rick at Treetops, I took numerous hours of lessons from him during my high school years.
Rick Smith has been called golf's renaissance man as a teacher, course designer, author & TV personality. He's one of the premier names in golf instruction and has consistently been ranked as one of the top instructors in the world!
